So the other night before the kids went to bed, Andrew said a prayer that we've never heard.
Dear God,
Please protect Breanna and make her be suppper good, and please don't let the light burn out or the walls get dirty. Amen.
So Joe tried to talk Andrew through his prayer but Andrew got upset and yelled "Don't interrupt me, I'm talking to God." It was quite sweet and wierd all in one! At least he loves his sister.

Andrew's Big Weekend
This past weekend was quite exciting for Andrew, not only did he play on his very first football time, he also got to go from in the daycare at church to the big kid Sunday school class! yay! Okay, so Saturday, Andrew's football practice was at 1:00p.m. and I thought he might get to play a game but I was not very sure since this was the very first sport thing we have ever done. Overall practice went great! Andrew was the perfect size for the game and he really understood what he had to do to play with the other kids. Since this was there first time meeting, the coach wanted to the kids to learn how to practice with each other, but the best part of this whole thing was the fact that the coaches had the Dads come out and practice with the kids. So awesome! Andrew really liked having daddy practice with him and not only just daddy but he also had his Grandpa Greg out there too. It was great and poor little Breanna got eaten up by the ants! So very sad...her little legs are doing better but still very sad.
Sunday morning at Sovereign Grace was quite enjoyable. Since Andrew is know four, he is officially the right age for big kid Sunday school. We explained to him that he would be going to a different class and of course Andrew was super excited. He loves Sunday school. He likes coming home to tell us about his stories and verses he has learned, which makes us happy to know that we has been actually paying attention. The only thing we forgot to do was tell Breanna that Andrew would not be joining her for class. Ugh! On the way to take Bree Bree to class she asked for her brother, so I told her he would not be coming. She made such a sad little face before she began screaming. In the daycare, the room is divided up in to two classes. A wall that they built keeps the toddler kids separated from the babies. Last week, they had informed us that Bree kept taking off to go find her brother. So, this week was not her best week there but she did meet a new friend, he is one of their helpers of the daycare and Bree has become very adaptive to him. He calls her the crier! Its very cute, her first baby crush! All in all, the weekend ended very well, some changes for the kids but it just showed us how much they've grown! Oh yeah, and Breanna is officially potty training. So far we go on the toilet twice a day! A big step for her!

Viva Las Vegas!
Ok, so we are a little behind on posting here but we have lots of wonderful pictures to show. Our little trip to Vegas was very fun. I think this was the very first trip as a family were Bree Bree could actually have fun. The trip started off very early...5:45a.m. I thought that by leaving soo early the kids would sleep most of the way, I was wrong. The bad part to this is Breanna has learned to unbuckle herself from her car seat, it makes it a little harder on us because somebody has to constantly watch her.
Well, when we first got to Vegas, we took the kids to go get a late lunch. As soon as we got our food we sat down to pray and right after praying Andrew goes, "Mommy, enana had her eyes open when we prayed!" So then Joe asked him " How did you know her eyes were open?" He looked at Joe and just began eating. About 5 mins later he says " Well my eyes had to stay open so I could keep an eye on her... so she doesn't eat our food." What a cleaver child...So then after lunch we took a trip around Vegas to go sight seeing after a long day we thought it would be best to rest before the wedding.
The day of the wedding was very stressful lets just say that. My mom asked me to help her get dressed by doing her hair and I still had to get Breanna dressed. So I thought I'll get Bree dressed first she's so little it won't take that long.....I put Breanna's hair up and put pink and black flower clips in her hair because those were the colors of the wedding, By the time I started to do my mom's hair Breanna brings me those pretty pink and black clips(urgh). I think she thinks its a game or something like lets play scavenger hunt and find the clips mommy puts in my hair. She always brings me the right amount. Well the guys looked very smashing in their suits and Andrew was quite the looker in his.

This is the first picture of me and my brothers together in five years! So I was very excited to take this. The wedding was not too far away from our hotel. It took about 20 mins. and the place was very pretty. It was called Lakeside Gardens and where my brother and Sam would be standing it would overlook a lake. This place was I guess pretty popular because they had weddings booked well into the night. So when we got there, a wedding was taking place so while we waited we took pictures...of course why not this is where most of our family is together in one spot. ( you don't see that quite often)
Here is my dad and brother before the wedding. One of their only pictures together.

As you can see, Andrew is starting to get impatient, but lots of wonderful pictures.
This was one of my favorite pictures, it's the ONLY picture I have of my Grandma Maggie with Breanna and myself. I love it!!! And one of the only pictures I have with my mom.
The wedding started off beautifully and before we left for Vegas, Andrew kept saying that they only reason we were going to Vegas was so he could marry his friend Hannah(my brothers sister-in-law she's 4) well as soon as they started walking down the aisle, Andrew carrying the rings(so scary) and Hannah dropping her flower petals, Andrew stops dead in his tracks...Hannah continued to walk without him and he looked an me and my mom to see what he should do. I guess he got cold feet!It was pretty cute after the ceremony I asked him why he stopped he said he was just kidding he doesn't want to be married he's just a little boy! I was quite happy to hear that.
The wedding was beautiful and my brother who is soo not into weddings easily became soft hearted once he saw he is new wife. I thought it was quite sweet! All in all the day started stressful and ended quite peacefully

One sneaky little boy
So tonight, after my wonderful husband made dinner for the whole family, we decided to watch a movie "The Pursuit of Happyness" which every time we watch it, it makes us become a little more appreciative of what we have and realize just how blessed we are. So in watching the movie, Joe tells me that he feels bad for punishing our children when they are naughty and me being all teary eyed I start to agree with him. The movie had just gone to a commercial when out of no where appears Andrew and speaking as fast as he can he asks " Can I sleep in your room?" Before we could even answer he starts jumping up and down saying" please, please, please, please?" Joe tells me I have to tell him no but before I could even answer Andrew, he comes and sits in my lap and tells me he has a plan. At this point, I'm very curious as to what this plan may be. So I ask him what this plan is. He starts speaking so fast, I could barely even understand a word, all I heard was sleeping in our room and sucking his thumb and when we woke up we would visit Grandma Bonnie. I must say he definitely planned this out!

A 3yr old's thought of kindness
Tonight, after a wonderful family dinner, we sat down with our kids to read a story out of Andrew's Little Boy Bible Book. At the end of the story, they give you a review that you go over with your kids to make sure that they understand the story. So I asked Andrew,Mommy: " What would you do to help other people?"
Andrew: " I would save them."
Mommy: " How?"
Andrew: " Well, they don't have money, so I would give them money so that way they
could go to McDonald's or Burger King so they can be happy."
My eyes became tearful. I was so shocked. I didn't even know what to say but "Thank you". He just smiled at me and said "Mommy, that makes me happy so everyone would be happy." Looking at my little boy with such a big heart makes me so proud to know that even he understands that one little act of kindness can go a long way.

The flowers and the Trees...

So lately, the kids have been asking to go on walks early in the morning. Anyone who knows us knows were are not morning people, but to bring happiness to our children we got up and went for a walk. The kids found that outside was their own "secret garden" full of many surprises. We don't have a big back yard but where we live, our children make everything their backyard

Every tree and flower around us, they believe belongs to them and Breanna is a big fan of smelling everything. Obviously, she was trained very well by her brother. Andrew, on the other hand, is now into climbing trees. I guess it's a boy thing.
Andrew soon realized that there where things that lived in trees, such as bugs. Once Daddy showed him a dead spider, we were done climbing trees that day, and maybe longer...
Overall the adventure they had was quite the journey. The world threw the eyes of a child is amazing. I guess when you get older, it's a lot harder to just stop and smell the roses every once in a while...
